Scripture Verses To Remind You That God Cares

God

God cares enough to constantly remind people throughout the Holy Scriptures that He loves all people and in turn, a desire for the love of the Father is inscribed on every human heart. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us,

man is created by God and for God and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for:

The dignity of man rests above all on the fact that he is called to communion with God. This invitation to converse with God is addressed to man as soon as he comes into being. For if man exists it is because God has created him through love, and through love continues to hold him in existence. He cannot live fully according to truth unless he freely acknowledges that love and entrusts himself to his creator (CCC 27).

Biblical verses about God’s concern for all have the power to open our hearts to receive the love of God. The following is a collection of verses to read and re-read.

God Cares

God cares enough to call you his child:

For through faith you are all children of God* in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26).

Do not fear, I have called you by name; you are mine ( Isaiah 43:1).

God cares enough to make you in his image:

Then God said: Let us make* human beings in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the tame animals, all the wild animals, and all the creatures that crawl on the earth.

God created mankind in his image;in the image of God he created them; male and female* he created them (Genesis 1:26,27).

God cares enough to give you new-life:

So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. ( 2 Corinthians 5:17).

God cares enough to send you his Holy Spirit:

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate* to be with you always (John 14:16).

God cares enough to send you spiritual gifts:

to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit;to another mighty deeds; to another prophecy; to another discernment of spirits; to another varieties of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as he wishes.(1 Corinthians 12:6-10).

God cares enough to give you the power to witness:

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.* And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age (Matthew 28:19,20).

God cares enough to rescue you from your enemies and deliver you from temptations:

The LORD will beat down before you the enemies that rise up against you; they will come out against you from one direction, and flee before you in seven (Deuteronomy 28:7).

God cares enough to give you freedom of choice:

“No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. ( Matthew 6:24).

God cares enough to deliver you from your sins:

Hence, now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed you from the law of sin and death.(Romans 8:1,2).

God cares enough to judge you with fairness:

The precepts of the LORD are right,

rejoicing the heart.

The command of the LORD is clear,

enlightening the eye ( Psalms 19:9).

God cares enough to offer you eternal life:

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith* in God; have faith also in me.In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. Where [I] am going you know the way.”( John 14:1,4).

God cares enough to promise that you will rise from the dead:

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,k (John 11:25).

God cares enough to give you the gift of joy:

In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

  2. A beautiful progression of verses, Father! Not only does it spell out clearly how God cares for us, but it also points to what it means to live the life of a believer, in freedom from sin and the freedom to love the world for Christ, always with the vision of heaven in mind. Excellent job!
