  1. As a medical doctor, I recommend that you publish an article by Dr. Byrne. I recommend this after seeing your on line article by Loreto Xavier entitled, “Death, Detachment and Donation of Self”. I suggest this because there is a lot more to this topic than what a lay non-medical person may appreciate.
From Dr. Byrne’s website: “Dr. Paul A. Byrne is a neonatologist and a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. He is past President of the Catholic Medical Association. He is the producer of the film Continuum of Life and the author of Life, Life Support and Death, Beyond Brain Death, and Brain Death is Not Death. Dr. Byrne has presented testimony on life-death issues to nine state legislatures beginning in 1967.” Dr. Byrne will present evidence which will cause people to rethink commonly held ideas about brain death and organ donation.
